Most problems are best dealt with by the people involved.If the problem is about a group or someone's behaviour, start with SAFE. You can leave a group at any time. Group admins decide who joins and can remove people whose behaviour makes the group unsafe or persistently unpleasant for others.

MEET SAFELY
- For a FIRST MEET at least three people should meet in a public place.
- Tell someone where you're going and who you're meeting.
- Keep control of your own way there and home where appropriate.
- Keep personal information private until you're comfortable sharing it.
- Trust your judgement. If something doesn't feel right, leave.
Nobody owes anyone another meeting.
DIFFERENT VIEWS ARE FINE. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT.
Personal attacks, intimidation, discrimination and deliberately making others feel unwelcome are not acceptable.Meet organisers can remove people from their WhatsApp chat if their behaviour makes other people feel unsafe or persistently uncomfortable.

MONEY AND SCAMS
Don't send money to someone simply because you met them through HubTribe. Paying your own normal costs, such as coffee, travel, a ticket or admissio, is different.Be cautious if someone asks for money, passwords, verification codes, financial information or an investment. If something seems suspicious, stop and report it.

GlobeGlue is a free project about people contributing to the lives of other people and their communities.
Every day, schools, communities, groups and individuals do useful things. Many of those contributions remain local and are never seen by people elsewhere who could learn from them or try something similar.GlobeGlue finds and shares these real examples so that good ideas can travel. It also provides simple ways to find groups, meet people and turn an idea into something real. We believe contribution does not have to be large or complicated. Small actions matter.GlobeGlue has no membership fees, subscriptions or user accounts. It is not a social network and does not exist to keep people online
The website makes the connection. What happens next belongs to people.
WHO CREATED AND FUNDS HUBTRIBE?
GlobalGlue was created and is funded by Ken Martin.Ken spent a significant part of his working life as an expat working in different countries. Those experiences helped inspire GlobalGlue, particularly the idea that simple opportunities can help people meet, contribute and do things together.GlobalGlue is a community project, not a commercial service.
WHAT DOES GLOBALGLUE MEAN BY CONTRIBUTION?
Something useful done for someone else or the place where you live.It can be small. It doesn't have to be organised by HubTribe.If your school or community is already doing something useful, you can simply share what you did so other people can learn from it.
WHAT IS A CONTRIBUTION NOT?
GlobalGlue is about sharing useful things people have actually done.
It is not a place to:
- ask for money or donations
- fundraise
- recruit staff or volunteers
- advertise or sell products or services
- promote an organisation, campaign or cause
- collect people's personal information
- Find people to make a specific GlobalGlue idea happen —> yes.
- Use GlobalGlue to recruit people into your organisation —> no.

Use HELP to report a problem. If you ever feel unsafe, leave the situation and get appropriate help rather than waiting for GlobeGlue.

HubTribe is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.
You do not need to create a personal profile or HubTribe account to use HubTribe.

If you suggest a Meet, we receive the information you provide about the Meet, including the WhatsApp joining link you submit for people who are interested.Please do not include unnecessary personal information in the public description of a Meet.If you use CONTACT HUBTRIBE, you can choose to provide your email address so that we can contact you about your message.Providing an email address is optional.We may also receive personal information that you choose to include in a message you send us. Please don't include personal information that isn't needed.

WHY DO WE USE IT?
We use information submitted to HubTribe only to:
- operate and publish Meet listings;
- deal with questions, reports or problems; and
- contact you where necessary if you have provided an email address.We do not use this information for marketing.
OUR LEGAL BASIS
We process this information where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating HubTribe Meets, responding to problems and protecting the service and the people who use it.You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
WHO DO WE SHARE IT WITH?
HubTribe does not sell personal information.Information submitted for a public Meet listing may be displayed publicly on HubTribe.Other personal information is not published unless you have provided it for publication or we have another lawful reason to do so.If we are legally required to disclose information, we may do so.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?
We keep information connected with a Meet listing for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the listing and deal with related questions or problems.Information submitted through CONTACT HUBTRIBE is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the issue and any necessary follow-up.Information is deleted when it is no longer needed.
YOUR RIGHTS
UK data-protection law gives you rights over your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, these can include asking to see, correct or delete your information, restrict its use or object to its use.You can contact HubTribe if you want to exercise one of these rights.You can also complain about the way your personal information is handled to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

They decide who can join and can remove people where necessary. People taking part decide together what happens.HubTribe Meeting Places are independent businesses. A Meeting Place listing simply means the café or other venue has told us that people taking part in HubTribe Meets are welcome to meet there. It does not create a partnership, endorsement or commercial agreement with HubTribeHubTribe does not carry out background checks on people using the service and cannot guarantee another person's identity or behaviour.Use your own judgement and follow the guidance in SAFE. You can leave a group, activity or situation at any time.If something on HubTribe is false or misleading, HubTribe is being misused, or there is a safety concern involving HubTribe, use REPORT A PROBLEM.If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services. MEETS TERMS OF SERVICE

1. WHAT HUBTRIBE DOES
HubTribe is deliberately simple.It is a free community project that helps people find or suggest Meets, things people would like to do with other people.These Terms explain the basic rules for using HubTribe.By using HubTribe or providing information through HubTribe, you agree to these Terms.
You must be aged 18 or over to use HubTribe.
If we become aware that someone using HubTribe is under 18, we may remove their information or listing and prevent further use of the service.
2. USING HUBTRIBE
Please use HubTribe Meets for its intended purpose: finding people to do things with and doing things together. Treat other people with respect.HubTribe Meets is NOT a dating service.You are responsible for your own behaviour, decisions and arrangements when using HubTribe or taking part in something you found through HubTribe.Information you provide to HubTribe should be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. WHAT HUBTRIBE MUST NOT BE USED FOR
You must not use HubTribe to:
- organise, promote, encourage or facilitate illegal activity;
- threaten, abuse, harass, exploit or deliberately harm another person;
promote hatred or unlawful discrimination;
- commit or facilitate fraud, scams, theft or deception;
sexually exploit or abuse another person;
- impersonate another person or organisation in a misleading way;
- publish or misuse another person's private information without permission or another lawful reason;
- deliberately provide false or seriously misleading information;
promote activities that create an unreasonable risk of serious harm;
- or use HubTribe for another unlawful purpose.
HubTribe must not be used to organise or facilitate criminal activity.
4. WHAT HUBTRIBE MAY REFUSE OR REMOVE
Not everything submitted to HubTribe will necessarily be published.
We may refuse, amend or remove a listing, suggestion, activity, meeting place or other information if we reasonably believe that it:
- breaks these Terms;
- may be unlawful;
- may put people at risk;
- contains seriously inaccurate or misleading information;
- or infringes someone else's rights.We may also prevent someone from making further submissions if they repeatedly or seriously misuse HubTribe.If we become aware of information or activity that we reasonably believe may be illegal, we may remove it and, where appropriate or required by law, preserve relevant information or report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
5. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
When you provide information to HubTribe to suggest a Meet, create or update a listing, report a concern or contact us, please provide information that you reasonably believe is accurate.If you provide information for a public listing, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and allow HubTribe to display and, where necessary, edit that information for the purpose of operating the service.
HubTribe does not accept general content from users for publication.
You can ask us to change or remove information you have provided. We will consider reasonable requests and act where appropriate.
6. MEETING OTHER PEOPLE
Meeting someone through HubTribe involves the same judgement you would use when meeting people elsewhere.HubTribe does not routinely verify the identity, background, qualifications or intentions of people who use the service.HubTribe cannot guarantee that a person, group, activity, venue or information appearing on the website is safe, suitable or accurate.For a first Meet, at least three people should meet in a public place. Tell someone where you are going, protect personal information you want to keep private and keep control of your own transport where appropriate.If something doesn't feel right, leave.
Nobody owes anybody another meeting. You can leave at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
7. ACTIVITIES
People who take part in an activity are responsible for deciding whether that activity is appropriate for them.Some activities naturally involve more risk than others.Suggesting a Meet does not make someone an employee, agent or representative of HubTribe. HubTribe does not become responsible for running a Meet simply because it appears on the website.Where an activity requires particular skills, equipment, insurance, permission or professional supervision, the people involved are responsible for checking what is required.
8. MEETING PLACES
A HubTribe Meeting Place simply means that the café or other venue has told us that small HubTribe groups are welcome to meet there.It does not mean that HubTribe owns, operates, inspects, certifies or endorses the venue.The venue does not become an employee, agent or partner of HubTribe by being listed.Visitors remain subject to the venue's own rules and normal terms of business.
9. OTHER SERVICES
HubTribe Meets may include links to WhatsApp chats created and managed by Meet organisers.WhatsApp is an independent service with its own terms, privacy practices and rules.People joining a WhatsApp chat may be able to see one another's phone numbers and other profile information.HubTribe does not create, operate or manage those chats and is not responsible for how WhatsApp operates.The person who creates a WhatsApp chat controls who can join and can remove people where necessary.
10. REPORTING A CONCERN
If you see something on HubTribe that you believe is illegal, unsafe, fraudulent or breaks these Terms, please use Report a Concern on HubTribe.net.Please provide enough information for us to understand the concern.We will review reports and take action where appropriate.If your concern is about a decision HubTribe has made about information you submitted, you may also contact us and ask us to review that decision.
If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
11. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
HubTribe is a free community service.We may make reasonable changes to HubTribe, these Terms or the way the service operates when the project changes, when we need to improve safety or security, or when legal or regulatory requirements change.We may also suspend or discontinue HubTribe.We cannot promise that HubTribe or every listing will always be available or error-free.
12. RESPONSIBILITY
HubTribe provides a way for people to find and suggest Meets. The people who take part, the people who suggest Meets and the venues they use remain responsible for their own actions and decisions.HubTribe is not responsible simply because people met, a Meet was listed, or a venue was found through the service.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.These Terms do not affect legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. PRIVACY
HubTribe collects and uses some personal information to operate the service.Our separate Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, who we may share it with and your data-protection rights.Where we collect personal information through a HubTribe form, we will also make the relevant privacy information available there.That final sentence matters: ICO guidance says privacy information generally needs to be provided when personal information is collected, not merely hidden away on a separate website page.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms when HubTribe changes or when legal, safety or regulatory requirements change.The latest version will be published on HubTribe.net with the date it was last updated.

Contribution Groups bring people together to do something useful.

When joining or organising a Group:
- Meet new people in a public place first.
- Tell someone where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Arrange your own transport where possible.
- Protect your personal information until you are comfortable sharing it.
- Remember that people in a - WhatsApp Group may be able to see your phone number.
- Find out what an activity involves before agreeing to take part.
- Do not take part in something you believe is unsafe or beyond your abilities.
- Never feel pressured to participate, continue or meet again.
- Leave if something or someone makes you uncomfortable.
- If an activity involves children or vulnerable people, the organisation or people running it remain responsible for appropriate safeguarding arrangements.

HubTribe helps people find Contribution Groups. It does not organise, supervise, approve or take responsibility for Group activities or meetings.

HubTribe only needs enough information to help people understand and find a Contribution Group.When creating or joining a Group:
- Do not publish your home address or other unnecessary personal information.
- Use a general location such as a town, city or area rather than a private address.
- Only share information about other people with their permission.
- Do not publish confidential or sensitive information about people the Group is helping.
- Think carefully before sharing personal information with people you have only recently met.
- Photos, names or other identifying information should only be shared with permission.
WHATSAPP AND YOUR PHONE NUMBER
Contribution Groups may use WhatsApp to communicate and organise.
When you join a WhatsApp Group, other members may be able to see your phone number and profile information.
Check your WhatsApp privacy settings and decide what you are comfortable sharing before joining.Once you leave HubTribe and use WhatsApp:
WhatsApp's own privacy arrangements apply.
Information submitted to create a Contribution Group may be published publicly so that other people can find the Group.
Do not submit information you do not want made public.
HubTribe may remove personal information from a listing where it is unnecessary or creates a privacy concern.

HubTribe is a free community project that helps people find others to do something useful together.By creating or joining a Contribution Group, you agree to use HubTribe for that purpose.
CONTRIBUTION, NOT RECRUITMENT
HubTribe must not be used primarily to:
- recruit people to an organisation, movement or cause
- campaign or recruit for a political party, candidate or campaign
- recruit people to a religion or belief system
- raise money or seek donations, funding or sponsorship
- advertise, sell or promote products or services
- recruit customers, employees or candidates
- collect personal information for marketing, recruitment or other unrelated purposes
- disguise commercial, political, religious, fundraising or recruitment activity as community contribution
HUBTRIBE CONNECTS PEOPLE TO CONTRIBUTE.

CREATING A GROUP
If you add a Contribution Group, you confirm that:
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- the Group has a genuine useful purpose
- you have permission to share any material you submit
- you will not knowingly misrepresent - who is organising the Group or what it intends to do
- you will use contact details obtained through the Group only for appropriate Group purposes

CONTENT AND REMOVAL
HubTribe may make minor changes to listings for clarity, formatting, privacy or safety.We may refuse, edit or remove a listing or Group that does not fit the purpose of HubTribe, breaches these Terms, presents a safety or privacy concern, or appears to be using contribution as a route to recruitment, fundraising or promotion.Group organisers can ask for their listing to be corrected or removed.

Contribution does not have to be grand. A few people doing something useful can make a real difference.
